She
was Princess Diana’s
personal dream
interpreter and
now renowned expert
Joan Hanger is
here to help YOU
unlock the deepest
secrets of your
subconscious.
Joan
is a freelance
journalist, TV personality
and author.

Her
first book “In
Your Dreams” was
launched in Australia
in 1994 and it led
to her being a guest
dream analyst expert
in the world famous
soapie “Neighbours”.
Part
proceeds of her
book “Your
Children’s
Dreams” (with
a foreword written
by the late Diana,
Princess of Wales)
were given to Barnardo’s
Australia, in 1998.
Joan
started analysing
dreams as a hobby
but now describes
herself as having
been “Junged” after
studying for
three months,
the Intensive
Dream Analysis
Course at the
Intensive Study
Program C.G.Jung
Institute in
Switzerland and
she tries to
return annually
to complete
the two week
course. She has
done additional
study workshops
with the Jung
Society of New
South Wales,
research at the
Prince of Wales
Childrens Hospital
Sleep Clinic,
interviews at
Stanford and
Harvard universities
in California
and private tutorials
in London with
eminent Jungian
analyst Dr Ean Begg.
During
a world trip
in February 1996,
Joan discovered
that there are
Nightmare Clinics
in Boston and
Montreal and a
great range of
dream products
available on the
market. During
this trip she
met and interviewed
many interesting
people from the
world of Dreams!
Some were involved
in manufacturing
dream comics
and others were
actually photographing
people’s
dreams as though
they were a movie
and they had a set
similar to a movie
studio with all
the images that
the dreamer reported – Joan
has never really
forgotten these
amazingly different
people and experiences!
Joan
believes that analysing
your dreams can
help your waking
life and act as
pointers to problems,
desires and fears.
By keeping a Dream
Diary, we can all
get to know ourselves
a little better.
